Lisa Darnell
Interim Chief Executive Officer

Lisa has worked for Migizi EDC since 2008 in a few varying capacities including Business Development Analyst, Project/Property Manager, and as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for the past couple of years. Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Her experience includes managing commercial and residential developments, overseeing construction development, real estate sales, and management of a multi business unit company.

Samantha Olson
Human Resource Manager

Samantha has worked for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in several capacities. To name a few, she worked in the Tribal Operations’ Human Resource Department, Migizi Administration as a Leadership Intern, and the Marketing Department at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. Samantha graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Management and a Master’s Degree in Leadership. She is a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, the Young Professionals Network, and the Tribal Education Advisory Board.

Jennifer Rezler, CMA
Controller

Jennifer joined Migizi in 2014 with 20 years of manufacturing and costing experience. She received her Certified Management Accountant designation from the Institute of Management Accountants in 1995 and serves on the Board of Directors of the local Saginaw Valley Chapter. Her experience in inventory controls, costing, payroll and accounting methods supports Migizi’s diversified business portfolio.

Jennifer graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University in 1993. She had dual majors in Accounting and Management with an English minor. As an accounting major, she did not take the traditional public accounting track, but instead focused both her studies and career on the management accounting side for the private sector of business. Her specialty is understanding and constructing financial reporting to support business needs and simplifying and explaining statistics for local management use.

Both she and her husband volunteer for the Kawkawlin Youth Ball League, a local non-profit focused on developing young players into baseball and softball as well as contributing to the continued development of the Kawkawlin Township Park.

Theresa Teeter
Area Manager of Retail Operations

Theresa has worked for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe since 2004. She joined the Migizi Corporate team in 2012 overseeing multiple retail businesses in several different industries including gas & convenience, pharmacy, gift shop, sporting goods, and a marina. Theresa is a graduate from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Theresa graduated with her Master's in Business Administration from the DeVos Graduate School at Northwood University in the Spring of 2016. Contact Theresa


Fritz Kuhlman
Marketing Manager

Fredrick Kuhlman came back to Mid-Michigan from Nashville, Tennessee after a career in the music industry where he served as the National Director of Promotion for a division of Warner Brothers Records and Curb Records. Having led efforts of 14 chart topping songs and two Country Music Association Albums of the Year, Kuhlman played roles in launching the careers of Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, LeAnn Rimes and Rodney Atkins among others. He holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.

He resides in Mt. Pleasant with his three children and has worked for the tribe since 2014 as the Marketing Manager for Migizi Economic Development Company.


Keith Potter
Interim Project/Property Manager

Keith Potter has been the Interim Property/Project Manager for Migizi EDC since May 2015. In Keith’s current role he manages the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe’s residential rental properties and coordinates the repair and maintenance on non-gaming businesses. Keith graduated in 1989 from UW-Stout in Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on building construction. Since that time Keith has worked in facility maintenance all over the United States coordinating building maintenance, renovations and capital projects for large hotels, ocean side resorts, county government and schools.
