Eagle Bay Marina, LLC (formerly known as Great Lakes Shores Marina) was purchased by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe August of 2007. In 2008 Tribal Council and the Migizi Board of Directors felt it was time to update and renovate this prime piece of land. First, the name was changed to Eagle Bay Marina LLC, to signify its new ownership. Then, the renovations began. The basin was dredged and extended increasing the depth to 10ft, floating docks were installed increasing the boat slips from 45 to 80, the boat ramp was expanded to allow for 4 boats to launch simultaneously, a pavilion with a lighthouse feature was constructed and their service building received exterior upgrades. These renovations have positioned Eagle Bay Marina as a premier marina having one of the deepest basin and channel west of the Saginaw Bay.
